Checking the current conditions in Zürs am Arlberg - what a place! Zürs is always a magical experience, whether it’s a light dusting or a deep blanket of snow.
❄️I’m eagerly awaiting the next big snowfall to transform the slopes into a paradise for off-piste adventures🤞❄️⛷️

Until then, Ski opening is on Wednesday! I can’t wait to hit the pistes. Will you be going for the season’s first turns at the Arlberg region ?

It’s Monday, but I’m still stoked from friday the 22/11-2024 ! IT WAS A MAGIC MORNING FOR ME: ⛷️❄️😌👌🏻🔽

“Each step up the snowy slopes brought me deeper into nature’s quiet beauty. The only sounds were my breathing and the crunch of snow beneath me. Majestic, snow-capped peaks stretched to the horizon, and the silence was soothing, broken only by the faint whispers of the forest. The crisp winter air energized me and lifted my spirit.

Reaching the top of Kapall took time and effort, especially as I had to carve my own path through the fresh snow. It demanded both willpower and hard work—but it was worth every step.

The reward? A euphoric descent through soft powder. With the wind in my ears and snow spraying around me, I felt pure freedom, alive and in perfect harmony with nature. Gliding down the mountain, bathed in the light reflecting off the snow, all my everyday worries disappeared”.

Today I’m doing things in 🐌 speed, yesterday in 🚀 speed. Days are different😌😅 🔽

Some days, everything seems to fall into place. You’re efficient, get everything done in two hours, and the rest of the day flows without stress….Other days, it’s not as easy. You get distracted, tasks take longer than expected, and time just seems to slip away…
That’s normal. We’re human, and we all have our ups and downs. It’s important to accept the slower days and not let them weigh you down and get stressed. Remember: The next day is a new opportunity to move forward and find your rhythm again 💪

And … Today is a very beautiful day here at my place. Little snow has arrived and more to come ❄️😌🙌🏻

You should try to walk up there !
It’s also starting to get pretty cold 🥶. Instead of hiking back down, I’m really looking forward to skiing down now. It’s more fun, faster, easier, and probably safer for me—but each activity has its own charm! 🙌🏻

I find motivation in hiking just like I do in skiing 😉.

We (me with my family) have just been in 🇩🇰 for some days. We are now back in beautiful Austria, Tirol ! We had a long drive the other night/day (about 15 hours including bathroom, refueling, and meal stops!). We could have done it differently by taking an overnight stop, but NO. We had a good driving flow, and the kids were as resilient as we were: we all wanted to get home!

Today, of course, we are tired, but we went outside in the beautiful surroundings! I think it did us all good!

Nature has a calming effect that can reduce stress and improve mood. Spending time outdoors together as a family not only creates memories but also enhances the feeling of connection to each other and to our surroundings. More grounding and natural play! And then there were the fresh air and sunlight! It can even be healing, which I felt today!

I’m looking forward the #skitouring days right now! Still Some Days To Go, but today I just have a bit more to say about SKITOURING & IMPROVEMENT
🤙⛷️❄️⤵️

⛷️Ski touring is good for people’s mindset in many ways. If you are a beginner or a professionel doesn’t matter. Different goals, physical & psychological 😉

💪When you feel you can conquer the mountain, you get like a personal victory & you feel stronger inside & outside - you can use that in other life aspects 💪

⛷️Ski touring uphill is not always easy, but it’s getting easier in many ways, if you do it more in practise!

⛷️ If you want to improve your ski touring skills, you need to do it more ! Learn it - do it ! After a short time, the uphill walking will get easier. The kickturns will look more professionel & in the downhill skiing (in powder) you will soon experience some flow you never had before ☺️

❣️Skitouring compared to Life work balance! We all have some areas too improve! But we need to handle in practice, invest time & money, if we reallly want to get better in something & get the experience for real in your body 🤙

………………Don’t stress your self now……….
🍂It’s still end of Oktober .
❄️No snow yet, so you have no stress, but use your time to plan & invest your next ski touring adventure for the winter ahead ! Time goes Fast !

For the upcoming winter I will arrange some different camps - 1 a month ! In the next couple of days I will have more deskriptions ready on my homepage ! ⤵️

From beginner’s ski camp, Introduction freeridecamp till touring days. I also have planned 3 touring days for women only ! Let’s see if people are interested, otherwise I’m quite a busy lady in winter with private bookings as well ! I just often met people who wants to ski with other like minded . With the camps it’s possible, assuming people are roughly the same level🙌🏻❄️⛷️😉

I like the beautiful mountains covered with snow 🏔️😂🙌🏻 What about you ?

But Being out there. In my “own world”. My meditation world combinated with the downhill skiing ! I love to do activities with adrenaline involved, yes that’s awesome, but I also need to do stuff sometimes, that makes my body relax in another way. I’m aware ! 😉
I don’t always show on SOME the relaxing part, but I also do slow activities 😇💪🧘‍♀️

We all know that LIFE BALANCE is great for a person, sometimes we have to adjust ! Or maybe often 😂

People always advice to do Yoga or meditation if you want or need to calm down - RIGHT ? What do you do ? #popular

BUT other stuff also have great effects if you don’t like that. If your body find activities too boring to do, then you can find one that fits to you. Book reading or some certain computer games or wander in your own speed also have a great effect on your nervous system, but of course depends on which book or computer game you choose ! 🖌️⤵️

🖼️ Painting does something great to me as well. It develops my creative skills as I thought I didn’t have & much more reflection to go 😂 ! #calmdown

In winter we are both working as off piste ski guides - and need to plan a head if we want “our monthly day” together ! Then we can’t always plan how the weather is like… But then when the conditions are like this on our day together, then it’s not difficult to decide What to do !

Wow ! Just a short cut away from the tourists hotspots near GardaLake, you’ll find this historic church chopped into the mountains !
It’s called “The Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona” . Situated Between Heaven and Earth 🙌🏻

(So… Mountains are situated between heaven & Earth 😉)

But correct. The church is situated in a very special place . Appreciate I had the luck to see it !
Because I almost only passed by this church by accident due to a evening dogwalk in the area 🐶😌!
